"David finished off his freshman wrestling season by advancing to the semi state wrestling tournament. His hard work and improvement throughout the season exemplifies the characteristics we are looking for in our athletic programs."

The Athlete of the Month program is sponsored by Waltman Construction. 

Auditions for the fall play, "Another Part of the Forest" will be held next Tuesday beginning at 3 PM in the drama room. Any high school student may audition for this show, which will be performed at the high school, the Regional competition, and at State Thespian conference it it makes the cut. Scripts are available now in the drama room.

Students parking in the parking lot.  Throughout the entire football season, the band will be practicing in the lower lot in the afternoon from 3:30 - 6.  On Thursdays all cars need to be out of that lot no later than 3:30 PM.  Thank you for your cooperation.

BCHS Show Choir Band is looking for more instrumentalists do be part of this award-winning ensemble. This group of defending Best Back-up Combo champions will have a call-out interest meeting on Monday, August 21st at 3:15PM in the choir room. We are seeking horn players, wind players, percussionists, keyboard players, guitarists, and bass players. You do not need to be currently enrolled in band our choir to be in Show Choir Band. If you have any questions or want to know more, see Ms. Billings.

Take Note Pop A Cappella group is holding open auditions for several new members. We are seeking male and female voices as well as beatboxers. You do not need to be a current choir member to be a part of this group! Practices for auditions will be Friday August 18th and Monday August 21st during Advisory and auditions will be Tuesday August 22 and Thursday August 24th. You need to email or speak with Ms. Billings before schools starts on Friday in order to get on the audition list and be allowed to come to the choir room during those Advisory practices. Come be a part of this exciting student-led vocal group!

Dance marathon committee applications are due August 23rd prior to the call out meeting at 7:45am on that day.  If you are interested in being on the committee, you can pick up an application in the office. All applications can be returned to the main office or Skyalr Fleischman.
